Melii Drops Her Debut Album 'PhAses'

The Harlem artist's project features Tory Lanez & A Boogie Wit da Hoodie.

Melii, the Harlem-based artist behind the viral hit "Icey," has released her long-awaited debut album, PhAses.

After hitting the road on Meek Mill's Motivation Tour, the Interscope artist landed the support of a few friends on her project including Tory Lanez ("Slow For Me"), Odalys ("Copy"), and A Boogie Wit da Hoodie ("HML").

On her recent singles, Melii tells intimate stories through her lyrics, which are predominantely in both English and Spanish, staying true to her Dominican background. PhAses is no different.

"As women, we go through different emotions," she said in an interview with The FADER. "Every song has a wrap up, it has a story. It's a page in my journal."

In celebration of PhAses, Melii will be headlining a show tonight at S.O.B's in New York City where she'll be performing the album in its entirety.
