Kid Cudi's debut mixtape, A Kid Named Cudi, celebrated its 10th anniversary last month. 

The 17-track project landed Cudi a deal with G.O.O.D. Music and the standout track, “Day ‘N’ Nite,” ended up as the lead single on his debut album, Man on the Moon: The End of Day. Dot Da Genius, the song's co-producer and Cudi's longtime collaborator, spoke to Genius on the making of “Day ‘N’ Nite” for the latest episode of Deconstructed.
