Eminem

Marshall Bruce Mathers III, better known by his stage name Eminem and by his alter ego Slim Shady, is an American rapper, record producer, songwriter and actor. The "Rap God" broke ground on Detroit's underground scene and while out in Los Angeles for a battle rap competition, his Slim Shady EP was handed to Jimmy Iovine and eventually Dr. Dre. After signing to Interscope Records/Aftermath Entertainment, Em dropped The Slim Shady LP in 2000, which helped him gain mainstream—albeit divisive—attention in the music world and earned him his first GRAMMY Award for Best Rap Album. Over the years, he's dropped seven more studio albums—all of which debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—and sold close to 50 million albums in the U.S. alone, making him among the world's best-selling artists. Throughout his career, Eminem has also won a total of 15 Grammys, most recently for his album The Marshall Mathers LP 2 in 2013.  Subsequently, he released his ninth and tenth studio albums Revival and Kamikazethe best selling hip-hop album of 2018.
